Indeed it is a great achievement and would be a good one for fast and upcoming artist in and outside to be a great part of that achievement.
Now you see the Nigerian music legend, Tuface Idibia, having been conferred with the award of the Fellow of the school of music by the Department of Music, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife with several awards to his name excluding the one received in OAU with awards like five Headies Awards (Hip-hop award), four Channel O Music Awards, BET Award, MOBO Award, Kora Award, MTV Europe Music Award, World Music Award.
This achievement would serve as an eye opener and notification to other universities who by one way or the other had produced musical celebrities like Davido who is a graduate of Babcock university and other important personal in Nigeria to try and engage them (musical celebrities) in the school activities to see how they can inspire and educate the student on how the musical industry works possibly the Do’s and Don’ts of music.
I really want to use this medium to call out on all famous and growing musical celebrities who had the opportunity to attend universities or colleges to get greatly involved and see how they can impact their experience with the younger and upcoming musical artist, which I believe would help them not to make the same mistake most of them must have made and also help them become better at what they do.
